VELUX PINE Centre-Pivot Roof Window GGL

Only VELUX roof windows are designed with top operation. A centre-pivot roof window is easy to operate even with furniture placed directly under it. And without compromising the easy operation, you can install it lower than an equivalent bottom operated window to get an excellent view both when standing and when seated.

Introduction
The centre-pivot window is a classic and versatile design manufactured in high quality natural pine with the option of a clear lacquered pine internal finish (GGL) or a white polyurethane internal finish (GGU). It is suitable for installation into roof pitches between 15° and 90°. For easy operation it is recommended to place the top frame of the window 1.85-2.20m above the floor.

VELUX recommend that all roof windows including solar or electrically operated roof windows are installed with a laminated pane for instances above 2.20m.

Features
  • Ventilation bar with dust and insect filter – Allows fresh air to enter the room while the window is securely closed
  • Friction springs – Allows easy operation of window
  • Sash rotates 180° from inside – Allows easy and convenient cleaning
  • Barrel bolt – Allows the window to be locked in two positions: 
- At 180° for secure cleaning of the exterior pane internally 
- At 5° to allow extra ventilation
Operation
The window is operated manually using the full width control bar on the ventilation flap along the top of the sash.
Glazing

(--60) glazing Double glazed, laminated inner pane, toughened outer pane with Easy-to-clean coating, enhanced noise reduction. 
(--62) glazing  Triple glazed, laminated inner pane, toughened outer pane with Easy-to-clean & Anti-dew coating. Provides enhanced U-value and Noise Reduction. 
(--66) glazing  Triple glazed, laminated inner, toughened outer pane with Easy-to-clean & Anti-dew coating. 
(--70) glazing  Double glazed, laminated inner pane, toughened outer pane. 
(--70Q) glazing  Double glazed, laminated inner pane, toughened outer pane. Provides a burglary resistance of Class P4A.
Maintenance
The pane should be cleaned with a soft, clean, lint-free cloth or non-abrasive sponge. The rest of the window can be cleaned with ordinary household cleaners. The filter can be removed and either washed or replaced.

White-painted finish

High quality pine wood with water-based long-lasting white paint with discrete wood grain. Perfect for almost all rooms.


White polyurethane finish 
 

High quality moulded polyurethane protects the timber core and is easy to wipe clean.


Natural pine finish
 

Warmth of natural pine with long lasting triple coat finish.

Cladding
NCS standard colour (Grey): S 7500-N nearest RAL standard colour: 7043.
