The monodeck 37T system is designed to replace floorboards and reduce sound transmission.

Monodeck 37T consists of a layer of 15mm reconstituted ACF (Acoustic Chip Foam) bonded to 22mm V313 P5 moisture resistant chipboard.

When installed as part of a complete party floor, this system enables a traditional timber joisted floor to meet the sound insulation standards of Approved Document E 2003 and subsequent amendments in 2004, 2010 and 2013.

Applications

To be used direct to joists for conversions, refurbishments or new build with a new plasterboard or existing lath and plaster ceiling.

The acoustic floor shall be:

Monodeck 37T, manufactured by Isomass Ltd. Unit 11, Avenue Business Park, Off Brockley Road, Elsworth, Cambridgeshire, CB23 4EY and installed in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions / recommendations.

Installation

Apply Isocheck Acoustic Angled Flanking Band on the edges of the Isocheck boards just before they are pushed against the perimeter walls to isolate the board from the wall.

Lay monodeck 37T directly to the timber joists, in brick bond pattern, applying Isocheck adhesive to all tongued and grooved panel joints without the need for mechanical fixings.

Install skirting and trim off excess Flanking Band.
